Introduction to British Sign Language

On this course, you will learn a basic understanding and awareness of Deaf culture and their community. You'll get gain basic skills that will enable you to communicate with Deaf people in the UK.

This could also be a great stepping stone to a British Sign Language (BSL) course. Giving you the chance to achieve a qualification in BSL.

This course is free if you earn less than £25,750 or are on mean-tested benefits. Proof of eligibility is required.

Course length: 2 hours per week for 5 weeks
