We offer a range of courses to help support you, such as Mental Health Awareness, Confidence Building, Stronger Families and more.

Level 1 Preparing to Work in Adult Social Care

Thinking about a career in Adult Social Care? This introductory course will give you a great insight into the profession.

You’ll discover the range of job roles and responsibilities that are available.  And find out what skills and qualities you need to work in the sector. You’ll learn the core values and principles of adult social care.  As well as the importance of effective communication.

Completion of this course will lead to Level 1 qualification.

The course is free if you earn less than £25,750 or are on mean-tested benefits. Proof of eligibility is required.
