British Sign Language

You’re welcome to join our friendly and engaging Introduction to British Sign Language (BSL) course.

BSL is the preferred language of over 87,000 deafened or hard of hearing people in the UK. For them, English may be a second or third language.
In this course, you will learn a basic understanding and awareness of Deaf culture and their community. You'll get basic skills that will enable you to communicate with Deaf people in the UK.

This may also lay the groundwork for progressing onto a British Sign Language (BSL) course. Where you could get a qualification in BSL.
