Introduction to British Sign Language

On this course, you will learn a basic understanding and awareness of Deaf culture and their community. You'll gain basic skills that will enable you to communicate with Deaf people in the UK.

This could also be a great stepping stone to a British Sign Language (BSL) course. Giving you the chance to achieve a qualification in BSL.

This course is free if you earn less than £25,750 or are on mean-tested benefits. Proof of eligibility is required.
