Parking with a Blue Badge
The Blue Badge Scheme: rights and responsibilities in England are on Gov UK.
Please note that local parking restrictions and schemes may vary. Blue Badge holders are advised to check some restrictions before parking. If you are unsure, contact Wakefield Council before travelling.
A disabled persons Blue Badge must be used properly. The badge and its concessions are for the Blue Badge holders use only.
It is a criminal offence for the badge holder or anyone else to misuse a Blue Badge. Doing so could lead to a £1,000 fine and confiscation of the badge. Making sure that the scheme is not abused will benefit genuine badge holders.
