When standing as a candidate for election you should consider your safety and security during the election period.

This includes your personal safety as well as your online and cyber security.

Post Nomination Briefings

When nominations close, we will host briefings and drop-in sessions. This is to advise what happens next in the election.

The briefings taking place on 14 and 16 April will include a short session. This is delivered by West Yorkshire Police. They will cover candidates’ safety and security in an election period.
