STEP UP

​Step-Up is the Council’s flagship employment and skills service available to all residents and businesses FREE of cost.

Our specialist team provides tailored one-to-one employment, skills and career coaching as well as a job-matching service and a minimum of six months in-work support.

    The Five Towns Veterans Support Hub consists of both veterans and individuals who share a common goal of helping ex-military individuals, Armed Forces personnel, and their families. Veterans may have served for a long time or for a short period. All are welcome!

Op ASCEND - Careers After Service

Op ASCEND is a free, government-backed service to support veterans and their families in growing their careers.

Op COURAGE: The Veterans Mental Health and Wellbeing Service

Op COURAGE is an NHS mental health specialist service designed to help serving personnel due to leave the military, reservists, Armed Forces veterans and their families.

Op FORTITUDE : Housing Support

Op FORTITUDE helps connect people in the Armed Forces Community who are experiencing homelessness to a network of support.

Op RESTORE: The Veterans Physical Health and Wellbeing Service

An NHS service providing specialist care and treatment to veterans who have physical health problems as a result of their time in the Armed Forces.

A GP can refer you to Op RESTORE by emailing imperial.oprestore@nhs.net.

Provides help and support to those leaving the Armed Forces to find employment.

SSAFA (The Armed Forces Charity) - Veterans in the Criminal Justice System

Provides a proactive approach within the criminal justice system, that supports all of the Armed Forces community, no matter what the circumstances.
