The museum is a 2-minute walk from Westgate Railway Station, 0.9mile (20-minute walk) from Kirkgate Station, and less than half a mile (8-minute walk) from Wakefield Bus Station. A free city bus runs every 10 minutes via the bus station from both Kirkgate and Westgate Railway stations and stops outside the museum.
