Real nappies

This is a Wakefield Council sponsored trial delivered in Partnership with Renewi.

This service should only be requested by the parent/guardian of the child and should be requested once the child has been born.

A birth certificate and proof of residency will need to be shown when the nappy trial pack is collected.

By participating in the real nappy scheme you agree to being contacted within 3 months of receiving your free nappy pack for feedback on the nappy products.

A click and collect service will be in operation for the Real Nappies Scheme. Once you have selected your collection point, a member of the Education team will be in contact with you to arrange the collection of your Real Nappies trial pack.

When filling out the application, you will need to choose from one of the following collection points:

• Castleford Library (Closed Wednesdays and Sundays)
• Pontefract library (Closed Thursdays and Sundays)
• Wakefield library (Closed Sundays)

You can apply for the real nappies scheme, if your child is 0-12 months. Please allow five working days before collecting your real nappies trial pack, this will allow your application to be processed.
