Share your views – Wakefield Council’s 2026-27 budget proposals

Wakefield residents and businesses are being invited to share their views on the our 2026-27 budget plans.

We have now published initial budget proposals, view the budget proposal. 

The plans are all about providing the best possible services to residents, delivering value for money, and modernising so that we are sustainable for the future.

Your feedback is important in shaping the final proposals that will be considered by Councillors at our Budget Council meeting on Monday 2 March.

You can share your feedback until Sunday 1 February by completing our Wakefield Council 2026-27 budget consultation survey.

The survey takes about 10 minutes to complete, and your views will help inform decisions on key public services in your area.
