Fun and FREE - creative workshops for children 5-12yrs this half term

Wakefield is proud to be a recognised UNESCO Global Learning City.

This means we get to share our successes with cities all over the world. By sharing ideas and working collaboratively we can learn from them, and they can learn from us. 

We celebrate all aspects of learning, for all ages! From academic learning to learning to live healthier, better lives.

That’s why we are offering younger residents the chance to get creative this half-term. And take part in fun FREE learning sessions.

Our Learning for Life bus will at libraries across the district. Offering children aged 5-12yrs the opportunity to design their own T-shirt or create a bar of soap. All materials will be provided, and children get to take home whatever they make.  

Places cannot be pre-booked. If a session is full, you can explore a world of learning opportunities in the library and join the next session.

To encourage Learning for Life, events for other age groups are being arranged. More details will be available soon.
