Castleford gears up for a global feast with the continental street market

Castleford town centre is set to come alive with flavours from around the world as the Continental Street Market makes its much-anticipated return from 12 to 15 June.
From sizzling street food to gourmet desserts, visitors can sample a variety of international dishes and browse unique artisan products, all in the heart of Castleford.

Over 25 traders will be offering an eclectic mix of international cuisines and artisan goods, with everything from Greek souvlaki and French crêpes to Asian delicacies and classic British comfort food. Visitors can also explore handcrafted gifts and speciality products, making it a great place to shop as well as eat.
The Continental Street Market is part of a district-wide series, with events already held in Pontefract and Wakefield earlier this year. It will return to Pontefract (6 – 9 November) and Castleford (4 – 7 December) this Autumn, giving food lovers more chances to experience its delights.
