Welcome to our Aspire Junior Gym programme
Our Junior Gym programme allows 11 to 15-year-olds access to our Aspire gym floors. Allowing the use of both strength, functional, and cardio equipment.
Our programmed Junior Gym sessions allow children aged 11-15 years to attend on their own, as sessions are led by qualified staff. If you wish to use the gym outside these times you must be accompanied by a responsible adult over the age of 16.

Gym Access for Children Aged 11 to 15
Children aged 11 to 15 can use the gym if they have completed an induction and are with a responsible person aged 16 or over. The adult must also have done a gym induction. One adult can supervise up to three children.
The adult must stay in the gym with the child—not in another area or class. They should be close enough to keep the child safe and help them if needed. Children can use all parts of the gym, including cardio machines, free weights, resistance machines, and functional training areas. They must be able to listen and follow instructions. Some resistance machines have height limits. If a child is too short to use one, a Fitness Consultant can suggest a different exercise.
Junior Gym Sessions
We also offer special Junior Gym sessions for ages 11 to 15. These are run by qualified staff. During these sessions, children do not need to bring a supervising adult. Please note, Junior Gym sessions must be booked in advance.
Fitness Classes
Children aged 11 to 15 can take part in regular fitness classes only if they are with and supervised by someone aged 16 or over. We also run junior fitness classes that are led by trained staff. In these classes, children do not need to be supervised by an adult.
