Community Action Days

Group of people litter picking

We are loving our communities this Summer, with planned days of action across the district.

Councillors are leading a day of action in their ward. So, get involved and take pride in where you live.

We plan to come together to tackle littering and report fly tipping. Making our communities a place to be proud of.

What Are Community Action Days?

Each event is hosted by local ward members with support from Wakefield Council.

It’s a chance to:

  • clean up your community
  • meet your councillors
  • connect with others
  • and make a visible difference

"These Community Action Days are a chance for everyone to get involved and take pride in where they live."
