The Hartley Suite
Pontefract Town Hall offers a stunning and breath-taking venue. It's perfect for those who seek a dignified and practical setting for a unique wedding.
The Hartley Suite is located in the former Mayor's Parlour on the ground floor of the Town Hall. Before your ceremony, guests will assemble in our waiting room which is furnished with chandeliers, beautifully restored furniture, and a grandfather clock created by William Sheppard, who had a shop on Micklegate in 1822.
The room will seat up to 15 guests for your ceremony.
For your reception you can hire the Assembly Hall, located on the first floor of the Town Hall. This offers a flexible stylish space ideal for live entertainment and evening celebrations. It accommodates up to 120 guests.

Children over 5 are included in the maximum number of guests. Where children attend ceremonies, parents are responsible for ensuring they are supervised at all times
