This service is for domestic collections only. If you need us take away items from a business, please visit the commercial waste section.
You can use our bulky waste collection service for items that are too big for normal household rubbish and recycling collections. For example, mattresses, beds or fridges.
We will take up to three bulky items for a charge of £31.50 at each collection. These charges are reviewed every year.

Items we can take in a bulky collection include:
- sofa - covered where possible to stop it getting heavy or wet
- corner sofa - covered where possible to stop it getting heavy or wet
- armchair - covered where possible to stop it getting heavy or wet
- footstool - covered where possible to stop it getting heavy or wet
- sofa bed - covered where possible to stop it getting heavy or wet
- mattress - covered where possible to stop it getting heavy or wet
- bed base - please take wooden or metal frames apart
- headboard
- wardrobe - please tape glass or mirrored doors to stop them shattering
- chest of drawers - these must be empty. Please tape glass or mirrored tops to stop them shattering
- dining table - please tape glass or mirrored tops to stop them shattering
- display unit - please tape glass or mirrored doors or tops to stop them shattering
- sideboard - these must be empty. Please tape glass or mirrored tops to stop them shattering
- up to 3 dining chairs - no cushions, coverings, or upholstery
- coffee table - please tape glass or mirrored tops to stop them shattering
- book case - please tape glass or mirrored doors or tops to stop them shattering
- TV
- TV cabinet - please tape glass or mirrored doors or tops to stop them shattering
- computer desk - please tape glass or mirrored tops to stop them shattering
- office chair
- door (internal or external) - no patio doors larger than 6’6” x 4’ (2m x1.2m). Please tape glass or mirrored tops to stop shattering
- fridge, freezer or fridge-freezer - not glass-fronted, should be empty, please tape the door shut and We currently do not take American fridges
- washer, dryer or washer-dryer

- up to 3 garden chairs - no cushions, coverings, or upholstery

- barbecue - we can't take gas bottles, please take them to your local recycling centre
- lawnmower - please empty all fuel

- slide - please take apart
- trampoline - please take apart
- carpet, rug or underlay - rolls no more than 4ft/1.2m long and can be carried by 1 person
- 3 x 50 litre bags or boxes - bags should be strong enough not to break when lifted and light enough to be carried by just 1 person

Once this form has been submitted you will be taken to your "Outstanding Payments" page where you will have to click the "Pay" button to confirm your appointment booking. If you do not do this within 30 minutes your appointment will be automatically cancelled.
