Town and Parish charter
Local authorities have a charter to define their partnership with town and parish councils.
The Town and Parish Council Liaison Group created a charter approved by Cabinet on 12 April 2011.

Code of Conduct
The Localism Act 2011 requires all local councils to have a Code of Conduct for their members. The Code sets out rules for how members should behave.
