Knottingley to Goole rail corridor survey

We are working with other local Councils and transport authorities to look at how rail links on the Leeds to Goole via Knottingley line can be improved.

Railway map linking Knottingley, Goole, and its surrounding areas

This work includes looking at rail connections for:

  • Knottingley, Pontefract, Featherstone, Castleford and Normanton
  • Goole and neighbouring villages
  • wider rail connectivity as far as Leeds and Hull

Do you live in any of these areas?

If so, we want your views.

You can share them by completing our survey, which will ask you:

  • how you travel between these areas at the moment
  • how happy you are with existing public transport in the area
  • what transport you’d like to see on offer in the future

You can also complete the survey over the phone by requesting a call back at 0131 335 4200.

This survey is open from 1 September until 12 October.

For more information about the project, and how your views will impact our decision-making, visit the Knottingley to Goole Rail Corridor Study web page.
