1. THE SPRING HOEDOWN
24 April

Join MC Dave Chawner, Duncan Oakley and ComedySportz for a fun-filled afternoon of family-friendly comedy. 4. THIRD FLOOR SOUL: FUNK & SOUL BAND
18 April
Powerhouse funk and soul band Third Floor Soul bring their vibrant energy to Wakefield. Expect a free night of vibrant energy, punchy horn lines, and infectious grooves.

5. THE CAT THAT SLEPT FOR A THOUSAND YEARS

This incredible exhibition continues into April! Bringing a touch of magic, The Cat That Slept For A Thousand Years is a 10 metre long Cat that snores, purrs, twitches its ear and swishes its tail! Brought to life by Air Giants’ pioneering robotic technology, the cat invites all ages to immerse themselves in her unique movements.
6. BLUES NIGHT
4 April
Join WX for a free night of electrifying Blues as McHale's Permanent Brew and Hot Foot Hall take to the stage. Expect high-energy riffs, soulful slide guitar and a powerful mix of classic influences and fresh original sound, all delivered by two standout acts known for their dynamic live performances. 7. DOG LIFE DRAWING

Dog lovers, this one’s for you. Enjoy a relaxed and friendly drawing session with canine models, complete with all materials provided and gentle guidance from your tutor. Expect a calm open drawing period as the dogs snooze, making this a perfect, low-pressure creative session for all skill levels.
8. THE GROOVE ASSEMBLY
3 April
The Groove Assembly sees WX welcome together local DJ talent for a bank holiday event to make the dancefloor shake! A crew of crate-diggers from Elliott’s Bar’s Vinyl Social night join Disco Soulstice, the party collective with a passion for good time, groove for a Good Friday event not to be missed. Expect to hear disco, funk, house and global groove from 4pm-10pm!
9. BOCCIA SOCIAL
16 April
Join Active Future for this inclusive sport social club. Boccia is a Paralympic precision ball sport… This social club is open to beginners and more experienced players who are happy to share the court! It's fun, free and open to everyone, but young people and adults with disabilities are particularly encouraged to attend accompanied by parents or carers.
10. LIVE PIANIST
