Wakefield Beer Festival coming to Wakefield Exchange this October

Wakefield Exchange is hosting the Wakefield Beer Festival from 23 to 25 October.
It brings together Wakefield Round Table, Jolly Boys Brewery, HB Clark and Wakefield Exchange to celebrate independent brewing, local food, live entertainment and community spirit.
“We’re pleased to be hosting Wakefield Beer Festival at WX! This will be a fabulous celebration of real ale, craft beer, and good old-fashioned merriment.
“Wakefield has a growing reputation for real ale, and the night-time and leisure economy is a jewel in Wakefield’s crown.
“This event will not only be a fun way to showcase the craft and the community behind the brew, with music and events. It is also supporting local businesses by bringing more people into our city centre.”

With more than 100 beers, ciders and craft drinks on offer, visitors can enjoy a weekend of great food, live entertainment and some of the best brews the region has to offer. The festival also aims to support and showcase the local brewing community.
Tickets start from £12 and go on sale at 10am on Friday 17 July.
Festival sessions are as follows:
- Friday 23 October, 6pm to 10pm
- Saturday 24 October, 12pm to 5pm
- Saturday 24 October, 6pm to 10pm
- Sunday 25 October, 12pm to 5pm
Sponsorship opportunities are also available for local businesses looking to reach thousands of visitors, raise brand awareness, build new customer relationships and support a major city centre event.
