Spotlight for Wakefield district businesses

A new social media initiative has been launched to celebrate the achievements of businesses across the Wakefield District.
Wakefield Business Spotlight has been created by Wakefield First to highlight the inspirational people, stories and ambitions that drive local success.
“This new initiative is all about recognising and celebrating the many talented businesses that play an important part in our economy. They help to create job opportunities, support innovation, and make our district a great place to live, work and visit.”

Wakefield First provides free independent support to new and existing businesses across the Wakefield District.
Each business feature will be shared across Wakefield First and the Council’s corporate social media channels, offering a behind-the-scenes look at how these businesses were established, how they operate, and their plans for the future.
