Ossett Conservation Area

We’d love to hear your thoughts on the Conservation Area, and what makes Ossett special.

We are currently undertaking a review of the area and, as part of this, a Conservation Area Appraisal and Management Plan is being produced, to help protect Ossett’s special historic character.

We are holding an informal drop-in information session on Monday 8 September from 2-3pm, in the Courthouse at Ossett Town Hall. 

Please drop in for a chat about the Conservation Area and to ask any questions you may have about the process.

A formal consultation will be held later this year and will be advertised in advance. At that stage, the draft appraisal and management plan will be ready. People will be able to look at the documents and provide feedback before the documents are formally adopted by the Council.
