National young market trader competition comes to Castleford

Tuesday, March 26, 2024

Young entrepreneurs in the district can enter a national Young Market Traders competition and give their business a boost.

Anyone between the ages of 16-30 years can register. It could be someone who has an idea and wants to test demand for their product. Or someone who is already running a business from home or online and wants a platform on the high street.

The Markets team is inviting applications to join the event at Castleford Market on 25 May 2024. It’s free to enter and as part of the event they’ll be offered advice and support.

“Being a market trader can help people to set up or expand their business. We want to encourage and support the next generation of traders, and this is a great way to get started, or develop a business.”
