Earlier bin collections due to hot weather

We are expecting very high temperatures on Thursday and Friday. To help keep our staff safe while working in extreme heat, some services will be starting earlier than usual.

Bin collections will begin from 6am. If your bin is due for collection, please place it at the kerbside the evening before or by 6am on the day.

To help our crews complete their rounds efficiently, please make sure vehicles are not blocking access to roads or collection points.

Our grounds maintenance teams will also be starting slightly earlier than usual so they can carry out their work before the hottest part of the day.
