A town-centre celebration of restaurants, bars, cafes and other food and drink outlets.

Come along to Henry Moore Square, Castleford, on Saturday 19 September for a day packed with live entertainment and community spirit.

Funded by Pride in Place and supported by local restaurants, cafés, bars and independent businesses, the event celebrates everything that makes Castleford a great place to eat, drink, and shop.

Family-friendly event, with small fairground rides outside the market on Carlton Street, and a balloon shaper and face-painter in the front entrance of the market.

From 1pm to 9pm, the district’s favourite radio station, Rhubarb Radio, will be live in the square, providing great music, hosting activities and creating a fantastic festival atmosphere throughout the day.

Enjoy performances from talented local musicians and entertainers on the Community Stage and keep an eye out for your chance to win one of our exciting food and drink-themed spot prizes.

Yorkshire Craft Beers and The Craft Booze Company will be hosting a mini-beer festival in the square, offering offer visitors the opportunity to discover and sample a variety of locally brewed craft beers.

If craft beer isn’t your thing why not pop into Castleford market and enjoy an expanded market experience, with a special programme of artisan craft stalls joining the market's regular traders for the day.

This is a free to attend, family-friendly event, welcoming residents and visitors of all ages. We encourage everyone to enjoy the day responsibly and help keep the town looking its best by using the litter bins provided.
