District Council Election Day
Some schools may be used as polling stations on Election Day. If a school wants to stay open, it must get permission from the Returning Officer.
If permission is not given, the school should close for an INSET day.
Schools that are not being used for voting may choose a different day for their INSET.
Each school can choose the dates for its other four INSET days.
