The Park has facilities for families to enjoy a brilliant day out in the fresh air. You can eat at our Boat House café, or just grab an ice cream. Enjoy your own picnic, but please do not bring BBQs. These are not allowed due to the fire risk.

We’re focusing on the wildlife habitats at Pugney’s, which is now a countryside site.

This means we’re no longer offering water sport activities or fishing at the park. But you can still enjoy plenty of family friendly activities. Including the Pirates’ Cove play area, Blown Away adventure trail and miniature railway. Plus the park has plenty of open spaces to play outdoor games, walk and cycle.

For your own safety, please do not attempt to enter the lake by any means. This includes:

  • swimming
  • paddle boarding
  • kayaking
  • and all other water activities
  • Location:

    Asdale Road
    Denby Dale Road
