Description: Please could you provide the following information: 1. Please confirm whether Wakefield Council currently pays, or has previously paid, Housing Benefit in respect of residents accommodated by Nurture Housing Association. 2. Please provide the total Housing Benefit payments made in respect of accommodation operated by Nurture Housing Association, broken down by financial year for: o 2023/24 o 2024/25 o 2025/26 o 2026/27 to date 3. Please provide the number of properties and number of Housing Benefit claimants to which these payments relate for each year. 4. Please confirm whether Wakefield Council currently pays Housing Benefit in respect of Nurture Housing Association accommodation at Rainsborough Park, including Oak Tree Crescent and/or Oak Tree Mews, Knottingley. 5. For a 3-bedroom property at Rainsborough Park occupied by three supported-housing residents, please provide the current or most recently approved: o Gross weekly rent charged per resident; o Eligible Housing Benefit rent per resident; o Eligible service charges per resident; o Ineligible service charges per resident; o Total Housing Benefit payable per resident per week; and o Total Housing Benefit payable for the property where all three rooms are occupied. 6. If different rent levels apply to different properties/residents at Rainsborough Park, please provide the lowest, highest and average eligible weekly Housing Benefit amount per resident. 7. Please confirm whether accommodation operated by Nurture Housing Association in Wakefield is treated as: o Exempt accommodation; o Specified accommodation; o Registered Provider accommodation; or o Another category for Housing Benefit purposes. 8. Please confirm whether the rent levels charged by Nurture Housing Association have been referred to the Rent Officer and, if so, provide the most recent Rent Officer determination applicable to the Rainsborough Park accommodation, with any personal information redacted. 9. Please provide copies of any rent assessments, eligible-rent calculations or other determinations held by the Council relating to the Housing Benefit eligible rent for Nurture Housing Association properties at Rainsborough Park, with all resident names and other personal information redacted. 10. Please confirm whether Wakefield Council has restricted, reduced, challenged or refused any Housing Benefit rent or service charge claimed by Nurture Housing Association during the above period. If so, please provide the number of cases and the reasons/categories for the decisions, without identifying individual residents. 11.
