Lost, stolen and damaged cards

What to do if your library card has been stolen

If you think your library card or PIN may have been stolen, please let us know as soon as possible. We can stop abuse of your account and give you a new card and PIN. This new card will be provided free of charge when you show your personal identification (passport, driving licence) and a police-issued crime number.

What to do if you have lost, damaged or misplaced your library card

Replacement cards are available, you will need to visit the library in person to get a new one and present Identification. Please note that a small charge applies for a lost/damaged replacement card. For further details of current charges and fees, please see the fees and charges page.

What to do if you have forgotten your password or PIN

If you have lost or forgotten your library PIN, you will need to visit your local branch and show your library card. For security reasons you must collect your PIN in person from a Library. Our library staff will not issue your PIN to anybody else.
