Wakefield Council’s Cabinet to deliver for the district

Wakefield Council’s top team has been announced following the local elections on 2 May.
The Cabinet remains unchanged, but there have been some new appointments made to key Deputy Cabinet positions.
The Council’s Cabinet is set to focus on the district’s top priorities. It will deliver key local services, provide support for residents and businesses, and drive forward a series of ambitious projects in local communities over the next 12 months.
“We’ve got a strong mix of skills, experience and local knowledge in the team to continue to deliver for our district.
“We’ll be continuing to listen to our residents to make sure we’re prioritising what our communities want and need.
“And I’m especially pleased to have some new Deputy Cabinet members on board to add to our strong and dynamic Cabinet.”
