Thornes Park Stadium will remain closed until at least June 2020 as work takes place to start the substantial clean-up and initial repairs to the damage caused by the fire on 26 February.
We are hoping to partially reopen the stadium, including part of the main sports hall, at the end of May to help minimise the disruption caused to the clubs and groups that use this facility.

British Gymnastics Proficiency Awards Scheme
The British Gymnastics proficiency award scheme has been designed to provide a nationwide personal incentive for all gymnasts.
All schemes are progressive in structure and are easy to administer. All coaches are fully qualified to British Gymnastics standards and work set guidelines to enable them help all participants reach their potential, whilst having fun at the same time!
Lessons are based on the concept of completing a number of moves from each level before progressing to the next. Each level has a badge and certificate with the specific level design on it.
On completion of each level the participant is able to purchase the badge and certificate, level 8 to 1, from reception.
