British Cycling Ride Programmes
British Cycling’s ‘Lets Ride Guided Rides’ organise everything from huge traffic-free bike rides through major towns and cities, to small local rides which are great for families and beginners. They train volunteers to lead and inspire rides all over the country.
HSBC UK ‘Breeze’ offers fun, free bike rides – as well as plenty of support and inspiration – for women of all abilities, all across the UK. With Wakefield’s very own Wakefield Women on Bikes (WWOBS) guided cycle rides taking place regularly.
District MTB is a non-profit ride advocacy platform for the Mountain Bike rider network in Wakefield and surrounding areas.
The main aim is to develop a platform for local riders to share information, meet new people and gain information on the MTB scene.
They also aim to help facilitate the development of new and existing infrastructure by giving riders a voice.
