Castleford Greenway

The Castleford Greenway is a traffic free route for walkers and cyclists running from Cutsyke to Lumley Hill. We have recently secured funding to extend the Greenway over the railway to join up with a new cycle path along the Riverside and onwards to Methley Junction.

Sustrans is the UK largest cycle charity that makes it easier for people to walk and cycle. They connect people and places, create liveable neighbourhoods, transform the school run and deliver a happier, healthier commute.
