Permanent Age Range Change at Crigglestone Nursery School
Wakefield Council and Crigglestone Nursery School are working in partnership to make the current age range change at the setting a permanent change in order to meet the demand for 2 year old places in the area and support Wakefield Council's statutory duty to ensure availability of sufficient free entitlement places for 2 year olds.

Notice is given in accordance The School Organisation (Prescribed Alterations to Maintained Schools) (England) Regulations 2013 that Wakefield Council intends to make a prescribed alteration to Crigglestone Nursery School, High Street, Crigglestone, Wakefield WF4 3EB from 20 April 2020.
The current age range of the school is 2 to 5 year olds and the proposal will make this change a permanent one to enable the school to continue to provide places for 2 year olds. Within twenty five days from the date of publication of this proposal, any person was able to object to or make comments on the proposal by completing the online questionnaire following the link below:
Please note that this survey opened at 9am on Thursday 6th February 2020 and closed at 9am on Monday 2nd March 2020. Therefore, the closing date for receipt of any comments to be taken into consideration has now passed and the survey is CLOSED.
