Sandbags can help reduce the impact of flooding on your property. Sandbags can be bought from most DIY stores or builders merchants and as these are classed as essential stores, they are open during the current national lockdown.
We don’t have an endless supply of sandbags so we have to prioritise the distribution to protect the most vulnerable and homes, but will always do our best to help if your home is at risk from flooding.

Before you start, you will need to tell us:
- Where the sandbags are required
- How many sandbags you require
- The source of the water causing the potential flooding to the property
- Where in home is vulnerable to flooding
Once delivered, sandbags are the responsibility of the property owner and you will need to make arrangements for their disposal following their use.
We cannot supply sandbags for commercial properties.
