​​A grade II listed building, the former Queen Elizabeth Grammar School, is located right in the heart of Wakefield’s newest and busiest shopping Centre, ​Trinity Walk.

With many of its original features from the Grammar school days, the venue is full of character and appeals to a wide range of clients.

Weddings and private functions

The gallery is a very affordable and versatile venue for small celebrations. Our main hall is ideal for birthday parties, family gatherings and other celebrations.

The main hall can seat up to 100 guests, with a smaller room next door for a further 20 guests. The doors between the rooms can be opened to make one large space.

There is an event kitchen on site which is ideal for customers wishing to provide their own catering, alternatively we can arrange catering for you.

Please note there is no bar facility on site and there is no license for alcohol on site.

The Gallery is only a 2 minute walk away from the City Centre bus station and 5 minutes from Wakefield Westgate railway station, making this a very popular City Centre venue.

It is an ideal location having excellent transport links close the M1 and M62 motorways.

The Gallery​ has plenty of nearby city centre car parking.​​
