Unfortunately Room One is currently unavailable for ceremony bookings which is based on what we able to offer as at July 2020 for the foreseeable future. Should we be in a position to use all of our ceremony rooms at full capacity our website and online booking form will be amended. If you are looking to have your wedding in Room One please visit us again at a later date to see if we can accommodate your ceremony.
Before your ceremony your guests will assemble in the Ceremony Waiting Lounge, where they will be surrounded by ornate furniture, including a grand piano, lovingly restored and befitting to the building and the opulence of the ceremony room.
The Lofthouse Suite has been luxuriously decorated to the highest standard and is furnished with two ornate fireplaces, a grandfather clock, chandeliers and a beautifully restored historic desk and chairs for when you sign the register.
The room will seat up to 60 guests for your ceremony.
Before your ceremony your guests will assemble in our waiting room, Room One, which has been beautifully decorated to the highest standard and is furnished with an ornate mahogany fireplace, chandelier and restored historic table and chairs for when you sign the register.
The room will seat up to 35 guests for your ceremony.
Wakefield Register Office
Your marriage or civil partnership will take place in a statutory room identified as the Register Office and witnessed by two guests.
Please note that attendance is restricted to the couple and two witnesses only.

When you decide where, when and at what time you want to be married it is essential that you provisionally book a registrar. You will need to pay a non-refundable booking fee.
