Castleford Strategic Regeneration Framework (SRF)

You are invited to have your say on proposals for the regeneration of Castleford town centre.

The Council's emerging Strategic Regeneration Framework (SRF) will set a direction for our efforts in the town over the coming years and aims to build on comments from 2020's consultation which helped to secure £23.9 million of funding for Castleford from the government's Towns Fund.

Part of this consultation will provide an update on the projects included in the Town Investment Plan for Castleford, which formed the basis of our successful Towns Fund bid. The Castleford Town Taskforce, which is a multi-agency group chaired by the private sector, was instrumental in the development of the Plan and will now work alongside the Council to ensure it is delivered.
