Wakefield Council’s Cabinet members revealed for 2018/19
Wakefield Council’s
controlling Labour Group has proposed changes to Cabinet Member positions for
2018/19.
The Cabinet Member positions will stay the same but there are some changes to
the Cabinet member assistants.
Cllr Michelle Collins will become the Deputy Cabinet Member for Adults and
Health. Cllr Michael Graham will take up post as Deputy Cabinet Member for
Corporate Services and Cllr Jack Hemmingway will become the Deputy Cabinet
Member for Environment and Communities.

Cllr Peter Box CBE,
Leader of Wakefield Council, said: “I would like to welcome all the new members
joining the Cabinet team. We continue to face challenging times but I am
confident that this team has the knowledge, enthusiasm and experience needed to
serve the district well.”

The new Cabinet will be formally approved by Full Council at the Mayor-Making
and Annual Council meeting on Thursday 17 May. The meeting will be
live-streamed from 11.30am at www.wakefield.gov.uk/livestream
