Wakefield Council and WDH join forces to offer money management advice
Council has teamed up with the district’s main social housing provider, WDH, to
provide residents with advice and support on money management.
part of its ‘More money in my pocket’ campaign, the Council is highlighting the
range of support services available in the district, so that people can find
out about changes they could make to have less money going out and more money
coming in to their household.
Council's Money Smart service is working with WDH Cash Wise to provide a
‘one-stop-shop’ offering advice to both homeowners and tenants on things like
state benefits, mortgage payments, rent and bill payments, reducing debt, and
budgeting. The service will work with people to review their financial
circumstances and provide them with a personalised package of support to
maximise their income and reduce outgoings.
