Christmas Walking Trail

An Elfy Christmas Mystery

We have put out an SOS to children across the district to join a hunt for one of Santa’s missing elves

Santa has asked for the assistance of Wakefield’s children to identify which elf and which present has vanished when his team were out shopping for presents in the city not so long ago.

There are far too many presents and elves for Santa to keep track of, so he needs help!

Children are being asked to start at Wakefield Westgate train station and follow the clues.

There are 11 clues to be found on buildings and in shop windows.

Children will be given a list of elves and presents that are currently in the city. As they follow the clues, they are to eliminate the elves and gifts they find to reveal the identity of the missing elf and the missing present.

You can download a trail map here or visit your local library to pick one up.

The Elf Trail starts at Wakefield Westgate train station and takes approximately 30 minutes finishing at the Library in Wakefield One.

Completed missing elf forms should be dropped in the box at the library for a chance to win a family cinema ticket.

It will be a fun-filled, festive activity for the entire family!

Good luck!
