See WakefieldRecycles in action!Do you ever wondered what happens to your recycling after your bin has been collected?Here’s your chance to visit our Education Centre in South Kirkby to see the recycling journey of waste from your home in Wakefield. Plus, meet our special guests.We believe this is essential if we are to reduce costs, reduce energy emissions, cut greenhouse gases, and ensure the future sustainability of our planet.Why not come take a look at our informative zero-waste inspiration to use around the home, handle the items and see the benefits of ditching single-use plastics. Or brush up on your recycling skills by getting hands on with our recycling games and challenges.Come along to find out more about reducing, reusing and recycling in an informal, helpful manner in an environment where it’s great to ask questions and have discussions with our Education and Recycling Advisors. Book early to avoid disappointment.Numbers for each open day are limited. The visit is open to Wakefield residents only.Visitors between 7 and 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
