Armed Forces Day art competition
Design a poster for Armed Forces Day
Armed Forces Day is a fantastic family event, and is a great opportunity for celebrate the brave men and women that make up the Wakefield armed forces community.
To celebrate this great occasion we are inviting primary school aged children to take part in our art competition - by designing a poster.
To take part, go to Wakefield Library during the half-term holidays, where we will have art equipment available. Remember to hand them in to a member of our team.
If you can't make it to the library, then feel free to take part at home and send them to the address below.
Be as creative as you want to be, but the theme for your artwork should be 'heroes of our armed forces'.
Feel free to use paint, colour pencils, colour pens, crayons, or anything else you want. But make sure your poster is on an A4 piece of white paper.
There will be three winners, each winning a £20 Amazon gift voucher.
