The Registration Service is open but with restricted access by appointment only. If you are unable to access our services by other means i.e. using our online appointment and application systems or by telephone, please contact us to arrange an appointment for you to attend an office.

The office is closed once every 6 weeks on a Wednesday for staff training, our next training date is:

Wednesday 17 April 2024:

• Wakefield Town Hall: 9am to 12pm
• Pontefract Town Hall: 9am to 2pm

Out-of-hours services

There are services available for urgent marriages and urgent burial arrangements outside of normal working hours.
