Lofthouse Suite

The Lofthouse Suite has been luxuriously decorated to the highest standard and is furnished with two ornate fireplaces, a grandfather clock, chandeliers and a beautifully restored historic desk and chairs for when you sign the register.

The room will seat up to 45 guests for your ceremony.

Room One

Room One, which has been beautifully decorated to the highest standard and is furnished with an ornate mahogany fireplace, chandelier and restored historic table and chairs for when you sign the register.
The room will seat up to 25 guests for your ceremony. This does not include children under 5 years old. 

Additional information in respect of the Lofthouse Suite and Room One:

  • If you require the use of a translator, they will sign the schedule as a witness to the marriage. They cannot attend as an additional guest to the numbers outlined
  • Children over 5 are included in the maximum number of guests.  Where children attend ceremonies, parents are responsible for ensuring they are supervised at all times

Wakefield Register Office

Your marriage or civil partnership will take place in a statutory room identified as the Register Office. You will be provided with choices of legal vows and ring vows, however, there will be no readings, music or other personalised elements included in the ceremony.

Please note that attendance is restricted to the couple and two witnesses only. Children of any age or photographers cannot attend additionally.

Book your ceremony

When you decide where, when and at what time you want to be married it is essential that you provisionally book a registrar. You will need to pay a non-refundable booking fee.
