We are pleased to introduce this years Safeguarding Week brochure Safeguarding Week will run across West Yorkshire from Monday 25 June to 29 June. Safeguarding really is ‘everyone's business’ and this brochure highlights the commitment that we all share here in Wakefield to keep children, young people and vulnerable adults safe.We would like to thank all of the partners, agencies and individuals contributing to making this week possible. All of the courses or briefings offered during the week are free for any partner agency, voluntary organisation or school to book on to and attend. We do ask that we are notified if a place is no longer required so that we can offer it to someone else. There are many events to choose from in the program, however if you can’t make an event then do come along and say “Hello” at one of our Public Engagement events which are to be held on Monday 25 June in Wakefield Town Centre and Friday 29 June in Castleford Town Centre. To book onto an event please visit www.wakefieldlscb.org.uk
