Hot-dip galvanizing installation

Application under the Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2016

The company known as GalvanizeUK Limited, Units 4b and c, Data Drive, South Kirkby, Pontefract, WF9 3FD has applied to Wakefield Council for a permit to operate an installation for a hot-dip galvanizing activity, involving the melting of less than 20 tonnes of zinc or zinc alloy per day, at the address above.

The application has been placed on the public register held at: Wakefield One, Burton Street, Wakefield, WF1 2EB and can be inspected free of charge during normal office hours. Written comments on the application should be made to Roger Newman, Environmental Health Services, at the Wakefield One address above or by email to ippc@wakefield.gov.uk by Wednesday 20 February 2019.

Any written comments received will be placed on the public register unless they include a statement requesting that this is not done. If there is such a request the register itself will just include a note that representations have been made which are not on the register because of such a request.
