Wakefield Council has its own traffic census staff who undertake traffic counts. The different types of traffic counts that are carried out are:  

• Classified junction counts
• Pedestrian counts
• Two way flow information
• Registration counts
• Speed Surveys
   

Classified count surveys are expensive to undertake.  These may be around £200 depending on the complexity of the site and number of enumerators required over a 10 or 12 hour period. We may have a survey already in out system - we charge £50 +VAT for this information. If you would like further information please see Contact Us details.
