Cycling Proficiency and safer cycling
The 'On-Road Cycle Training Scheme' aims to help the young road user to cycle safely in traffic. Training is entirely practical and mostly on the road and is aimed at pupils in years 5 and 6.
Pedestrian training
All primary schools are offered pedestrian training which is aimed at Year 3 and Year 4 pupils. Training courses run from September to March.
