The weekly Highway Maintenance Roadworks Report identifies new and ongoing roadworks that are likely to cause disruption to motorists.

The council is required to maintain a register of all works carried out in the highway in what is known as the Street Works Register. This is a record, by street name, of all past and proposed works carried out by utility companies and the highway authority. This register is available for inspection during office hours at Newton Bar (Upper Building), Leeds Road, Wakefield. A simplified version of the register is also available via the "Where I Live" function from the Main Menu on this web site.
