Parking Notices – Appeal Against

Drivers who feel that a Standard or Excess Charge Notice (SCN/ECN) has been issued incorrectly have the right to make a written appeal to the Council within 14 days of the date of issue.

All appeals must be made in writing (via e-mail or letter) by the person who was driving the vehicle at the time the notice was issued. Every appeal should include:

  • The Drivers full name
  • The Drivers full postal address including post code
  • The SCN/ECN number (starts 01) or
  • The Vehicle Registration

PLEASE NOTE: Failure to supply any of the above details may result in the appeal being rejected by Parking Services.

If you had a valid Pay and Display Ticket or valid Blue Badge or Permit please also send
• a legible photocopy of the ticket, blue badge or permit

Please note: There are no reception facilities at this address and it will not be possible to discuss your appeal in person. Only written appeals can be considered.
